Takamine acoustic guitar strings help!?
hi. i need to cut the strings on my acoustic guitar Takamine. This is a EG531SSC and chains are too high off the frets. I want to lose them. Does anyone know how to do this on a Takamine guitar? I know that some guitars can move the bridge But do not think the bridge on this guitar is movable. Anyone have any ideas or know how to do this? thank you!
It is necessary to bring it to a guitar shop someone to lower the action on it. This is not something you want to do on your own. You could ruin the bridge, neck, truss rod, and the balance of the guitar, if not done correctly. Therefore, having a professional is a good idea. They can lower the action as far as you like (or as far as they can), balance, and adjust the neck to fit you like chains. Do not put in thin strings. Each guitar is set for a specific indicator of the chains. If you put in the indicator bad string, it's easy to start making the bow of the neck.
