Why is 'Wall Street' so reluctant to help 'Main Street'?
Yesterday after the stimulus bill approved by Congress, Wall Street stocks plunged. The "reason he gave was that there were no details. However, when they received their 1st delivery of the TARP funds was not the case at all. So, why Wall Street is acting like a bunch of spoiled children and why are they so reluctant to help Main Street? thoughts? Chuck (my worst critic, as usual), supposedly TARP funds to banks to help ease the credit crunch. And they were supposed to begin to provide money to help boost the economy. As a result, they did not disperse funds / loans to Main Street. Instead, they chose to keep the money for themselves! Got it now?!
Holidays in the Bahamas is more fun than on Main Street. Wall Street is more interested in offshore banks in the Cayman Islands in the main street. Capitalism operates on greed. The unbridled greed will cause the downfall of capitalism. When the main figures out streets contempt for Wall Street has for them will give them their profits.
