What is the cheapest, the best looking and most durable alternative to real wood floors?
We love real wood floors, but want a more affordable alternative and is not planning to be in this house forever. My husband will do the job-any suggestions? I want something that is very rich in search
Stick with the prefinished wood. The engineered wood floors are fine, but they are the cheapest. Laminates look and sound like shit and vinyls are simply silly. Go to an apartment a few showrooms and ask to see their pre-finished wood floors and ask what they could be special. You should be able to find something that can be purchased for about $ 5.00/sq. The feet of vinyl, laminate or engineered wood deck will not work just so nice. Just my two bits.
