Guitar Pickup
Since the original humbucking coil invented by Electro-Voice in Indiana PA equipment, and the first refined in a guitar pickup Gibson Seth Lover worker in 1955, humbucking pickups, either for electric guitars or basses hum-buck (cancel noise interference) normally experienced by the coils with a single pill. They do this through the series connection, doubled the production of coils opposite polarities through small magnetic fields chains around the instrument that also induce electrical currents in the coils.
Typically, the coils rest side by side, either in the metal plate free or under the covers, such as long-pills PAF family (literally: patent applied for; Gibson obtained a patent, but the name stuck solid) on Gibson Les Paul and SG electric guitar body. These pills are known to offer a warmer, fatter tone than single coil pickup provides.
On the other hand the humbucker coils can be stacked one above the other, as Fender makes some of his Stratocaster and Telecaster. Seth Lover designed the first truck as Fender, the wide range later in the 1950s. Fender also used standard open reels and double mounting pads for some models Bridge Stratocaster or standard, but covers two reels and neck pads for some models Telecaster.
Others include humbucking pickups Gibson Mini-Humbucker, essentially a variant smaller and thinner PAF style, the Gretsch Filter-Tron, born in 1957 and a standard feature in rural and other famous knight hollow instruments, the division of Fender, developed for the Precision Bass and the use of a coil stacked below the E and A strings and the second below the D and G-strings, The Seymour Duncan SH4, double-exposure roll of the company is the first thing we designed for the guitarist Jeff Beck, and the Duncan SH-1, basically a variant of Seth Lover PAF original and first designed to fit the 1959 Les Paul.
