Brown Wood Paneling..?
I want to cover the grooves in already hung brown wood paneling and then paint them.
I was thinking of doing this w Tape & Spackle.
Is that possible?
How do u prep them before I do anything?

I don’t think the tape and spackle is the way to go (too many ridges). Why don’t you try just filling the grooves with some kind of compound that will stick to the vertical surface. Personally, I just painted mine out and they look a hundred percent better.
I did have to use a primer and then paint with a thick roller, but they came out great!
