First Act

Acting has found its origin in religious rituals of primitive times and the first people to perform were the religious leaders of the tribes. The development of drama is mainly attributed to the Greeks.

Start your child early with acting, giving them an early peak when they are young will increase the likelihood to catch them and being immersed in the art, this will increase the chances of success. Many people think that acting is about glamor and living the good life. Wherever you look today you see actors on television, radio, theater and even see street performances. However, acting is not easy, in fact, as the reproduction of music is almost impossible to master.

There are quality schools and the experience and training. Sheer determination and physical prowess are requirements that an applicant a player can not do without. Acting is one of the most brutal and difficult career to pursue, but also one of the most rewarding.

When a player finally reaches its potential that can transmit the emotions necessary to produce the necessary quality in their performance. For many people the performance is exciting and rewarding career. A good actor can become anything he or she wants to be. Becoming a successful actor is one of the hardest things anyone would want to do, but is also one of the most rewarding. The actor must concentrate and be inspired if they are to emulate and believe they are the character they need to portray. The main tool, addition to their body of an actor is their voice.

To define the quality that is a person who can impersonate another person either on screen or on stage. When the actors play characters may be fictional, or may be people who are alive or a person who once lived. The goal of acting is what the character is going after.

The business of acting is much like any other that provides a service. The problem is that many of the actors will sit at home waiting to be discovered. The actors constantly subjected to the auditions as part of a job interview. This is where your breakdown of the work performed and associated prices can help determine this. Multi talented actors are adept at dancing, singing, improvisation, accents and mime.

If you think you are going to nail each side think again, just go out and give it all, this is the best line of thought. Listen everyone would like to nail the audition, but be realistic, you will receive more rejections in the beginning then call back, but do not be discouraged keep at it.

By definition, an agent is someone who finds work for an actor at a rate of about 10 to 15% what he earns for that job. However, an agent is much more than that really. Love 'em or hate' em, agents are impossible to live without him. It is vital that you puts his thoughts aside for a moment and just listen and be present with what the agent quality.
